Can a float be used for sea fishing?
Can a float be used for sea fishing in the way it can be used for coarse? I seem to lose all my tackle on rocks and hope this idea might save me some cash

yes you can use one, they are slightly bigger and heavier then the ones used for river fishing. look in places that sell bait and accessories, hopefully that should work
If your fishing from the shore it would probably just come to shore…It might work from a boat but you would have a problem with the depth

Yes floats can be used for sea fishing. The floats work very good for trout and bluefish. You can buy them at all of you local tackle shops. Make sure to get the weighted floats. If you do nnot get the weighted floats you will not be able to cast far in the wind. E-mail me if you need any more fishing help.

Perfectly OK.In fact ocean currents and breakers make whatever cut bait or jig you are using bounce up and down adding a “life like” action to your bait…Great for Sea Trout and Blues, as well as Rockfish
a float can be used for just about any type of fishing if you go shark fishing you would use a balloon its still a type of float you can even use them for ledgering ,it slides up the line when you tighten up your line and you just have the tip showing if you get a bite where the fish pulls your line the float will go under and if the fish comes towards you the float will stand up higher in the water then lay flat. hope this helps
yes it can be used so long as you use a 1oz drilled bullet below the float and a flexible type of hook that can be pulled out in a snag try kamasans uptides use 20lb on your float you can buy a kit that is just as good only problem is you cant get down deep with a float.I assume your english for some reason so i will add its good for catching wrasse using a crab or limpet bait.
