i am starting a tackle box for all fish what is some good bait? what is a good rod also?

Well Bud, here is a list of the top 10 bass plugs ever so this is definitely a great start assuming it’s affordable to you, and after you’ve fished a few of these you will be able to determine what seems to work best for your area and your fishing spots. As far as a rod & reel goes there are a ton of different combos available at all your sport stores you should be able to pick up a combo fairly cheap. If you mainly target Bass then I would reccomend an “Ugly Stick” for starters as these are a well built rod and are also quite affordable to the working man. Good Luck
dont forget to pack long nose plyers for taking out hooks, some nail clips for cutting line, and a can of deep woods off and small flash light. Makes fishing much more enjoyable.
Best lures ive found is rooster tails with the spinner,,I like orange, or green, or brown.
also, a small crank that looks like a grasshopper works for me.
oh, and the famous purple rubber worm with a slip weight.
