what all sould i have in my catfish tackle box?
i hae been catfishing sence i could hold a fishing pole! so im kinda a pro…but even pros can learn new things…try to includ it all my box is pretty big!

hey man, for me catfishing doesn’t involve a whole lot of tackle. all i keep with me while i go after the ol kitty kitty is a 12″ slip bobber (when i feel like fishing with a bobber) #3,4,5 treble hooks. i use what treble hook i believe is best for the size of catfish i keep an assortment of weights 1 ounce teardrop weights and 3 ounce pyramid weights and i also keep a few saltwater wire leaders with me when i am fishing in thick structure. that is about all i keep with me. man i hope that helps you a bit good luck good fishin be safe and remember to share the experience
My fish must be different or just smaller.
I use 8-12 lb. line, small split-shot weight to stop a egg shaped barrel weight from hittin the hook so I clamp it about 8″ above the hook.
I use eagle claw offset hooks….can’t remember size…about big as a thumb or so. Sometimes a slip cork or not. Big fat worm
In box, you need more of that stuff and a “gooky” rag to clean worm goo and fish slime off hands. Needlenose pliers to help get hook out, maybe a long plastic hook remover if you find one. You always need a knife. A stringer. A scale if you care.
